Privacy policy

Agent Computers is an early developer preview operated by Philip Zhan. This policy describes the account website and the current local browser extension.

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, and email verification status. We store account and authentication records, including Google sign-in tokens, to identify you and maintain your account. We request basic identity access only; Google sign-in does not grant access to Gmail, Drive, browsing history, or other websites.

We also store your workspace, project, and environment records. Session records can include your IP address and browser information. Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the sign-in process. Request and error metadata may be processed by our hosting provider to operate and secure the service.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to sign you in, provide your workspace, enforce access permissions, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service. Google handles identity authentication, Vercel hosts the website and server, and Neon stores application records. These providers process information needed to deliver those services; application hosting and database processing are configured in the United States.

We do not sell your Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service and its users.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics on the homepage and privacy page to understand aggregate visits, referral sources, approximate location, and browser/device categories. Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies. We remove query strings and URL fragments from page-view URLs and exclude account, sign-in, consent, and API routes. We do not send account identifiers, browser captures, or custom behavioral events to analytics. Vercel processes request information to produce these aggregate statistics.

Assistant connections

If you connect an assistant, we store its OAuth client registration, your consent, and authentication records. The assistant can receive your account identifier and basic profile under the permissions you approve. Current tools support account checks and synthetic fixtures; they do not access browser captures or real computers. You can disconnect all assistants from your account page, which immediately invalidates their application grants.

Browser extension

The current extension collects website cookies locally only after you connect it and choose to capture. You can exclude sites, pause capture, disconnect, and delete the local capture. Consent and exclusion preferences remain in local extension storage; the latest raw capture is held in browser session storage. The current version does not upload browser cookies or browsing sessions. Cloud transfer and computer features are not yet available.

Retention and your choices

We retain account and workspace records while your account exists. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the support email shown on the Google sign-in consent screen. We will verify that you control the account before fulfilling a request. Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider backups or security records until those records expire.

Signing out invalidates your app session. You can also remove Agent Computers access in your Google Account settings. Removing Google access does not automatically delete your Agent Computers account. Extension capture controls operate separately from your website account.

Contact and changes

For privacy questions or account requests, use the support email displayed on the Google sign-in consent screen. We will update this page as the product changes and obtain any additional consent needed before introducing browser-session uploads.
